Another Day, Another Neck Tattoo For Rihanna

If we had a nickel for every time Rihanna got a tattoo, we’d be rich. (And we’d be even richer if we included the times she gave tattoos  to people, too).

So it shouldn’t be surprising that on her current trip to New York, RiRi popped into a local parlor and got yet another tattoo on her neck. We’re still not so clear on what that thing actually says  - something “flower”? Or “forever”? Maybe?

Gearing up for another big performance, Rihanna was spotted making a grand exit from her New York City hotel on Wednesday (August 11).

The "Love the Way You Lie" singer strolled past fans and photogs out to an awaiting ride, revealing her new tattoo on her neck reading "Rebelle Fleur".

As for the day's agenda, Rihanna will be taking the stage at Mohegan Sun Arena in Uncasville, CT later this evening for one of her "Last Girl On Earth" tour shows.

From there, it's back to the Big Apple, as RiRi and opening acts Ke$ha and Travie McCoy will be taking their hit concert to Madison Square Garden on Thursday, August 12th. (Hollywood Gossip)

Rihanna is coming up with a new collaborative effort Video single with Eminem named ‘Love the Way You Lie‘ and Megan Fox and Lost Star Dominic Monaghan will star in the video. The video is already in the news for the Kiss between Fox and Monaghan
As MTV asked Monaghan how it was like to kiss Megan Fox…he said,

“It’s all right,” he joked, before getting serious. “No, I’m just kidding. It’s fine, it’s work. She’s married. I have a lot of respect for marriage.” To avoid any awkwardness during filming, Dominic was blunt with Megan from the very beginning. “[I said] ‘Look, I know that you’re married and I don’t want to do anything inappropriate. And she said, ‘It’s all kind of inappropriate, huh?’”
Well it’s nice thought. Now back to Single. It’s reportedly based on the violence that Rihanna had to go through when she was in a relationship with Chris Brown.

Rihanna Sings About Domestic Violence On Single With Eminem

Rihanna teamed up with Eminem for one of the singles on his new album. The single is called 'I Love The Way You Lie' and includes some lyrics about domestic violence. Eminem raps that the next time she tries to leave, he's going to tie her to the bed and set the house on fire. Rihanna sings:

"Just gonna stand there and watch me burn / that's alright because I like the way it hurts..."
Rihanna says the lyrics are "authentic and real" and explains the song this way:

"[Eminem] pretty broke down the cycle of domestic violence and it's something that a lot of people don't have a lot of insight on, so this is a really a powerful song. ... It really touches a lot of people...
"The lyrics are so deep and beautiful. It's something I connected to, which made me think it was a hit. And I want to be part of a hit."
Now I haven't heard the rest of the song, so I don't know the context, and I don't want to get self-righteous or judgmental, and of course Rihanna has the right to sing about whatever she wants, but... this just REALLY surprises me. Especially given what she's been through.

Rihanna has found "balance" in her life.

The 'Rude Boy' singer endured a turbulent 2009 after being assaulted by her then-boyfriend Chris Brown but she insists she has found peace at last.

She explained to Seventeen magazine: "There's a balance in my life that wasn't there before. It's a really different peace, a different energy… I'm really enjoying life right now."

The 22-year-old pop star admits the attack left her shaken and made her re-evaluate certain aspects of her life.

She added: "The assault came at the end of an incredible year for me, career-wise. Now I kind of look back on it as the beginning of a new era, almost like it was a wake-up call for me. It was a massive turning point for me in my life."

Now Rihanna — who is rumoured to be dating Los Angeles Dodgers baseball star Matt Kemp — is encouraging her fans to find the happiness she has by pursuing there own goals.

She said: "Don't be afraid to be yourself just because you're not like everybody else in class.

"If you want to dye your hair green and that's what makes you happy, then dye your hair green — no matter what other people might say about it. Not everybody is going to like you, that's the world we live in, that's reality."
